	Duties:	Coordinates efforts with those at other local, state and federal agencies and industries Works with and speaks before groups and organizations Plans and organizes projects and budgets Prepares technical reports Assists in negotiation of contracts. Responsible for collecting, interpreting, and disseminating technical information Responsible for the preparation and review of engineering drawings and specifications Administers and oversees contractors' compliance with regard to contract requirements Conducts site visits Organizes and implements solid waste projects and coordinates project activities with the ENGINEER III, Chief Engineer, Facility Manager, or Manager of Engineering, which require knowledge in solid waste management and solid waste resources recovery principles and processes Manages and directs specific studies and research projects. Assists in long-range planning and recommends policies and goals. Performs related work as required
	Qualifications:	Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in chemical, mechanical, civil, environmental or related engineering and two (2) years of work experience in engineering, preferably the solid waste field. Training, knowledge and experience of applicable computer software is required.

Manager of Landfill Gas

Starting Salary: $60,030.00

Duties:
* Manages and supervises engineers and other subordinate technical personnel. * Directs specific studies and research projects. * Coordinates efforts with those of other local,state and federal organizations. * Plans and organizes projects and budgets for the Landfill Gas group. * Prepares technical reports and data analysis using computer techniques. * Assists in long-range planning and recommend policies and goals. * Assists in negotiation of contracts with research and technical assistance companies. * Prepares for approval of the Chief Engineer technical and engineering specifications for landfill gas related projects Performs related work as required.

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with at least a bachelor's degree in civil, industrial, mechanical, or chemical engineering and several years' experience in the environmental field, including air and water pollution control and at least four years' experience in administration and supervision. Such education and experience to have provided the knowledge, ability, and skill to perform the duties cited above. Training, knowledge and experience of applicable computer software is required.
